Artist Hong Sung Chui was born in South Korea and went on to graduate from Hong-ik University in Seoul with a both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Fine Arts with a concentration in Sculpture. Later, Hong earned his Masters in Integrated Media from California Institute of the Arts.
